Mrs Salway said staff at the rugby club adjusted her husband’s memorial bench for free and a friend who is an electrician also adjusted the defibrillators for free.
“Everyone was amazing, their help made this all possible,” she said.
After Christmas she will provide defibrillator training together with the fire brigade.
A second fundraising campaign is planned for this spring, which she hopes will fund another three machines.
Defibrillators send an electric shock to the heart, allowing the heart to return to a normal rhythm in the event of cardiac arrest.
